Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. 532 West Hill Road Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Serving Lebanon Township and surrounding communities since 1951
Dear fellow Lebanon Township residents:
2010 has been an eventful year for our Department!
At the request of the Township Committee, we have assumed the responsibility for emergency medical services (EMS) in addition to our duties as the fire department. We have performed these newly assigned duties as we do all of our assignments--with professionalism.
All services performed by the LTVFD are free and performed by volunteer firefighters and certified volunteer EMTs, all of whom are fire department members. There is always the need for new updated EMT and fire equipment. So, as we do annually, we ask for your financial support through our fund drive.
Who are we?
We have pancake breakfasts, mailer fundraisers, and other fundraisers for only one reason:
To raise money needed to maintain your fire department at the highest state of readiness!
With the money raised, we buy needed equipment, protective gear, and uniforms, in addition to maintaining the equipment. In the past, township residents and property owners have given generously. In light of our assuming the additional EMS duties, we ask that you consider increasing your past donation amount, knowing that we now perform both fire and EMS services. In effect, we are soliciting two donations in one.
The Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department members ask you to please give generously so we can continue to safely serve you. Your tax-deductible donation will help us adequately equip and maintain our department, purchase and upgrade equipment necessary to provide EMS services, and continue to provide the level of emergency response you need and deserve.
We thank you for your continued support! "Information filed with the Attorney General concerning this Charitable Solicitation and the percentage of contributions received by the charity during the last reporting period that were dedicated to the charitable purpose may be obtained from the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey by calling (973)504-6215 and is available on the internet at http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/charfrm.htm.
